The St. Louis Scooter Club and the Kansas City Scooter Group invite you to join us for the second annual HAMS Meet Up in Jefferson City, Missouri.


Brief History on HAMS: Heart of America Maxi Scoots

HAMS was started last year when the KC Maxi riders wanted to meet up in the middle of our great State for a get together with some of us SLSC members that frequent the Burgman USA board. They decided Columbia was the perfect place since both Maggie (SLSC) and JC (KC Maxi) had knowledge of the area. The Columbia Scooter Club threw us an OUTSTANDING BBQ. We basically just hung out Saturday night and socialized, just a great time. Sunday we got up and went to breakfast before a ride out to Rocheport. We had people in from KC, Jeff City, St. Louis, various parts of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Arkansas. letsride94@gmail.com

ST. LOUIS SCOOTER CLUB
We are the St. Louis Scooter Club and Forum (SLSC) and we encourage you to ride with us. The St. Louis Scooter Club and Forum represents over 300 members living in the greater St. Louis and Eastern Missouri region. We are the biggest, most diverse and we host more scooter events than any other Scooter Club in our region - period.

All of our events are open to all scooter riders. Our members own Vespa, Aprilia, Cushman, Lambretta, Kymco, Yamaha, Motofino, Suzuki, Popcycle, Piaggio and Honda scooters. The St. Louis Scooter Club's Forum provides an organized outlet for local scooter owners to share their experiences. Whether you ride everyday; on the weekends or you're just starting out, we invite you to join our scooter group.

WEEKLY MEET-UPS AND RIDES
Our main club hang out Schlafly Bottleworks is surrounded by street detour and road closures due to the highway 40 construction; so during this '09 summer riding season SLSC has a temporary meet-up location. Rides are a great way to show off your scooter and meet new club members. SLSC holds its weekly "meet and greet" every Wednesday - 6:15 pm at A'mis Pizzeria in Rockhill. It is a great way to meet other club members; enjoy great food and drink.

Our St. Louis Scooter Forum is completely free and it is the official forum for the St. Louis Scooter Club.

NEVER A COLD SHOULDER
If you own a classic, modern, maxi or vintage scooter - consider yourself invited to join our club. We don't care what you ride, we just want to ride. We offer plenty of opportunities throughout these colder months to ride in our group. In fact, take a look at our "Cold Weather" riding tips.

THE FACTS
Our club's St. Louis Scooter Forum is open to everyone. There are NO costs associated with using our website scooter forum. Please sign-up for your free user name and membership today.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the first St. Louis Scooter Rally! (We know there was a rally in the 1990's) The RIVER CITY RALLY September 12th - 14th, 2008 was a huge success! We had over 50 scooters show up during the three-day rally and over 80 folks enjoy the several different events.
